Dr. Christopher Zuber

Senior Economist

Christopher Zuber is senior economist for macroeconomics and productivity on the scientific staff. He joined the scientific staff of the GCEE in May 2022. Prior to joining the Council, he worked as research assistant at the chair of Macroeconomics at Heidelberg University and interned in the Business Cycle Analysis Division of the European Central Bank. In his dissertation, he investigates the effects of fiscal policy and recessions on economic growth and potential output. Between 2010 and 2016, he studied economics at the University of Mannheim, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and the University of Bonn.
