The Federal Government will propose to the Federal President the reappointment of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Monika Schnitzer to the German Council of Economic Experts for a term of office until 28 February 2030. She will take up her second term of office on 1 March 2025.
Monika Schnitzer is Professor of Comparative Economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU). She was first appointed to the GCEE in April 2020.
