On Wednesday, 9 November 2022, the German Council of Economic Experts will present its Annual Report to the German government.
In this report, the GCEE analyses the economic situation and its development in the face of inflation and the energy crisis. In addition, the annual report will discuss what course needs to be set to overcome the energy crisis, how to position German and European fiscal policy well and what economic policy options exist in view of demographic and international challenges. The Annual Report also contains the national productivity report, which the Council of Experts presents annually as Germany’s national productivity board.
