Following the departure of Lars P. Feld, the previous chair, the German Council of Economic Experts (GCEE) has discussed the future chair.
The current four members have agreed that the Council will be chaired jointly by them until further notice.
A rotating representation arrangement (signing responsibility) ensures that the Council remains fully capable of acting in administrative matters during this period.
