The Federal Cabinet today decided to propose the recall of Prof. Wieland to the Federal Council.
At the proposal of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Peter Altmaier, the German cabinet has proposed to Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier the reappointment of Professor Volker Wieland, Ph.D., to the German Council of Economic Experts for the term until February 28, 2023. Professor Wieland has been a member of the Council since 2013.
